BlackSmithSoft signs Enterprise agreement with Salesforce Heroku
BlackSmithSoft BV has signed an enterprise agreement with Salesforce’s Heroku, a leading PaaS and cloud provider. As mentioned on their website ‘Heroku provides a secure, enterprise-grade platform for organizations of any size. We regularly perform audits and maintain PCI, HIPAA, ISO, and SOC compliance to further strengthen our trust with customers.’ With this new agreement, BlackSmithSoft will be able to provide more flexible and tailored cloud solutions to their customers in Europe and other regions.
Rami Santina, VP of Engineering at BlackSmithsoft said: “From day one of our journey we selected Heroku as our main cloud provider due to their excellent security standards and scalability features. With the new enterprise agreement, we can now offer our clients better tailored and cost-effective solutions that are scaled and custom-fit to the needs of their projects.”
Heroku’s data centres’ high security and availability standards align with BlackSmithSoft’s strategy to provide high security and privacy for their standard applications as well as bespoke platforms. Some of these security standards and accreditations include:
- ISO 27001
- SOC 1 and SOC 2/SSAE 16/ISAE 3402 (Previously SAS 70 Type II)
- PCI Level 1
- FISMA Moderate
- Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
Heroku’s physical infrastructure is hosted and managed within Amazon’s secure data centres and utilises the Amazon Web Service (AWS) technology.
All of BlackSmithSoft’s main applications including BlackSmithSoft DC / AWP, Power Search and DoCheck are built on Heroku.
